The following conditions are the contractual basis between you as a customer and Taku Tours I/S as tour operator.

2. Payment terms and cancellations made by the customer


The conditions for boat charters, day trips, boat tickets and snowmobile tours, respectively, differ from each other and are therefore treated separately:


2.1 Snowmobile


Taku Tours has snowmobiles that are approved for driving with passengers in Greenlandic nature during the winter period.


Snowmobile tours are paid a fixed price based on the current package offers as well as the price for any waiting time.


A snowmobile tour must be paid at time of booking or by agreement from the package offer.


Rules in case of cancellation made by the customer:
If canceled up to 48 hours before departure, the ticket minus fee DKK 50 will be refunded.
If canceled after 48 hours before departure, there will be no refund.
Credit card fees are non-refundable in case of cancellations. These rules also apply to changing tickets.


In the event of a delay due to a delayed flight, your ticket can be used on a new tour that we will set up. If you do not wish to use this departure, there is no refund.


2.2 Hiking tours


Taku Tours offers hiking tours that are approved by lokal guides in Greenlandic nature during the winter period.


Hiking tours are paid by a fixed price based on the current package offers as well as the price for any waiting time.


A hiking tour must be paid at time of booking or by agreement from the package offer.


Rules in case of cancellation made by the customer:

Accommodation
Taku Tours may refer to accommodation, guest houses, etc. in the area, but can currently not offer accommodation in own rooms/houses.


3. Payment method


Payment can either be made by bank transfer or by online payment by credit card via a payment link. For bank transfers, please provide your name and arrival date as a reference.


Once the deposit is registered, you will receive a confirmation email. Tickets and travel documents for the package tour will be received personally at the information meeting on arrival. For boat tickets, you will receive the ticket by email once the payment has been registered and you can present it on mobile, or print it and bring it with you on your journey.

Please note that a bank transfer must be free of charge for Taku Tours I/S.


4. Cancellations made by Taku Tours


4.1 Package tours


In the event that there are parts of a package tour (e.g. an excursion) that cannot be completed due to weather, Taku Tours will always try to have the part completed at a later date of the tour. If this is not possible, the customer will be refunded the value of the trip in question (share).


In all cases, Taku Tours is not liable for any lost onward connections and overnight stays.


4.2 Day trips


If Taku Tours cancels a tour due to weather conditions and the customer is unable to participate at a later date, Taku Tours will refund the full amount. Any credit card fee will not be refunded in case of cancellation. If the trip is purchased through a travel agency, the customer must contact this on his return.


5. Insurance


We always recommend that you take out travel insurance if you do not already have one that will cover you in case of flight cancellations, illness and injury. 


Taku Tours are approved by driving snowmobiles during the winter period, and you are covered by our liability insurance as required.


6. Time changes


We reserve the right to make changes to the departure times written on your tour.


7. Reservations


Taku Tours reserves the right to change times, prices etc.

8. Complaints


If you have a complaint, please make it during the tour or immediately after to Taku Tours staff before departure, where we will try to rectify the matter in question. Written complaints must be sent no later than 3 weeks after return. In all legal actions against Taku Tours, Greenland's legal system is used.
